Why We Started The Back Care Center
Dr. David Schwartz graduated from Tulane University in 1983 with a B.S. in Biology, and from New York Chiropractic College in 1986 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician and is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.
He believes in getting patients involved in their own care. Once someone is out of pain he works with them individually to build strength and to make the same injury less likely a second time. The office also offers gentle instrument adjusting for patients who would rather not be adjusted by hand.
Dr. Schwartz has served as president of the Dumont Chamber of Commerce. He was honored by the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors with its Community Service award and by Shelter Our Sisters with its Humanitarian award, and he is a founding member of Chiropractors Opposing Violence. Every May the practice runs an annual fundraising drive for the Center for Hope & Safety in Rochelle Park.
